Fighting Financial Illiteracy
At Nested Interest, we are passionate about empowering individuals to take control of their financial future. We are driven by the belief that financial literacy is an asset that fosters better, more informed decision making and sheds light on the pathway to each person’s aspirations.
Empowerment starts with educating each of us about personal finance and managing finances, understanding the keys to financial success, and how to make sense of the financial services that are available.
Social Involvement
In addition to the services that we offer to our clients, Nested Interest also teams with local nonprofit organizations, such as the United Way, to help fight financial illiteracy. We’re helping to develop lessons, provide training and other services to individuals and institutions, including:
- Planning and budgeting
- Budget coaching
- Debt management
We also provide financial support to the Corporation for Enterprise Development (“CFED”) a national nonprofit based in Washington, DC, dedicated to expanding economic opportunity for low-income families and communities through a number of asset-building initiatives.
